You waive any right to privacy Pt 2

Following my earlier post regarding AOL’s privacy policy, and the furore it’s caused in the blogging world (and IM users of course) – CNet’s has reported that AOL has clarified what they meant.
According to this article on ZDNet this section relates to a particular feature called Rate-a-Buddy, however, in response to the amount of anger/annoyance being expressed in the Blogging community at those key six words in that license “You waive any right to Privacy” will be removed from the agreement, and the following phrase will appear in the new T&C – “AOL does not read your private online communications when you use any of the communication tools offered as AIM Products.”
